Quincy University Hawks

2025 (Junior): Barbero made an immediate impact during his first season with the Hawks, bringing energy and versatility to Quincy’s midfield and defensive line. He appeared in all 18 matches with 15 starts, totaling 1,211 minutes.

Barbero recorded his first point in a Quincy uniform with an assist in a 2-0 win over Drury (10/17/25), helping the Hawks secure a conference shutout victory.

2024 (Sophomore at Lewis & Clark CC): Barbero appeared in 19 matches with 14 starts during his sophomore season at Lewis & Clark Community College. He helped the team to a 15-5 overall record while contributing to a defense that posted seven shutouts for the second consecutive season.

Barbero also added to the attack with one goal and three assists on the season. He scored the first goal of his collegiate career and recorded his first career assist in the same match, helping Lewis & Clark earn a win over Harry S. Truman College (8/23/24).

2023 (Freshman at Lewis & Clark CC): Barbero appeared in all 17 matches with 11 starts during his freshman season at Lewis & Clark Community College. He helped guide the team to a 10-3-4 overall record while contributing to a back line that posted a 0.76 goals-against average and seven shutouts. Barbero made his collegiate debut against Greenville University (8/19/23), helping Lewis & Clark secure a 2-0 shutout victory.

Personal: Lucca Barbero, from Guararema, São Paulo, Brazil, is a graduate of Victory Rock Prep where he competed for the Blue Devils. He spent two seasons at Lewis & Clark Community College before transferring to Quincy University. He is the son of Fábio Barbero and Camila Cauvilla Barbero and has two sisters, Júlia and Clara Cauvilla Barbero. Outside of the game, Lucca enjoys playing altinha and futevôlei. His sports role model is Neymar, and his favorite team is Corinthians.
