Biography

Background

Thede is a Business Management major at Quincy University from Schwerin, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Jan is the son of Burkhard & Jutta Thede. Jan played volleyball for eight years as a setter and libero, placing  2nd in the U14s Championship of Germany, 3rd in U16s Championship of Germany, and 3rd in U20s Championship of Germany. 

Why I chose QU

In Europe it is impossible to combine studies and sports. That´s why I wanted to study in the US. I was looking for a university that has a good volleyball program and isn't very big. I think with the smaller amount of students Quincy is more individual than bigger university´s.
