2020 (Freshman): Appeared in 18 matches making 16 starts. Finished 2nd on the team in kills with 129 & a 2.11 K/S ratio. Also totlated 330 assists. On the defensive Jakubausks recorded 60 digs, and 16 total blocks.
Background
Edward (Eddie) Jakubauskas is a Political Science major at Quincy University from Plainfield, IL. He is the son of Davia & Richard Jakubauskas. Jakubauskas is a Plainfield South High School, where he revived a 3.7 GPA. Eddie also played for Team USA beach, and the USA HP continental team. Jakubauskas is a two-times All Conference player, and in 2019 national All tournament team. He’s a 2018 National Champions (Phoenix,AZ), 2019 Chicago winter qualifier champs and in 2019 placed 3rd Nationally (Dallas, TX).
Why I chose QU
I chose QU because of the opportunity my major holds and it's connections that it has, but also because I saw that the volleyball program has a lot of potential and that it felt like home. The guys are amazing and I love them all and the environment really hits me to feel comfortable with pursuing my academic and athletic achievements.
