Laura Gutierrez will enter her second year as a graduate assistant coach for the tennis program at Quincy University (2021-2022).
Gutierrez is from the capital city of Columbia, Bogata. Gutierrez graduated from Saint Francis University (Pennsylvania) with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management.
Gutierrez served as the team captain during her senior year at NCAA DI SFU. Gutierrez was named to the All-Rookie team in the NEC as a freshman, and was named NEC Second Team All-Conference as a junior. She was also named the Colombia National Player of the Year and notched the number one ranking in her country before committing to SFU.
Gutierrez was the assistant coach for the High Performance Center (Bogota) for multiple years before going to college.
Gutierrez was a tennis pro at Silver Spring Country Club and got the opportunity to coach athletes at many different levels.
