Quincy University Hawks

2026 (Freshman): Conrad quickly became a reliable arm for the Hawks before his freshman season was cut short due to injury. He made eight appearances with six starts, going 4-1 with a 3.57 ERA and 1.31 WHIP across 40.1 innings. He struck out 48 batters, held opponents to a .219 batting average, recorded two complete games, one complete-game shutout, and one save.

Conrad made his collegiate debut against Christian Brothers (2/8/26), coming out of the bullpen to throw the final four innings while striking out eight to earn his first career save. He earned his first collegiate win in his first career start against Roosevelt (2/20/26). Conrad followed with his first career complete game against Davenport (2/27/26), throwing seven innings with seven strikeouts in an 11-1 win, before tossing his first career complete-game shutout against Truman State (3/7/26), striking out a season-high 10 batters across seven scoreless innings.

Personal: Rocco Conrad is a native of New Berlin, Wisconsin, and a graduate of New Berlin West High School. He is the son of Dean and Vicki Conrad.

Conrad was highly involved in academics and media, spending four years in journalism, including two years as sports column editor and one year as co-editor-in-chief. He also earned Honor Roll recognition every year of high school.

On the field, Conrad was a four-year baseball letterwinner and earned First Team All-Woodland Conference honors at first base twice, along with Second Team All-Region recognition. He was also named an All-Woodland Conference Honor Student four times for baseball and three times for wrestling. Conrad helped lead New Berlin West to a 2024 Regional Championship and Sectional Runner-Up finish and was ranked among the top 50 players in Wisconsin in the Class of 2025.

Outside of athletics, Conrad enjoys biking and watching and playing sports. His favorite athletes include Abner Uribe, Aaron Rodgers, and John Mateer, and he is a fan of the Milwaukee Brewers, Wisconsin Badgers, Milwaukee Bucks, Green Bay Packers, and Washington State Cougars.
