Personal: Suarez is from Humble, Texas, and attended Summer Creek High School. Before coming to Quincy, Suarez spent two seasons at Lake Erie College. He is the son of William Suarez and Carmen Riberas.

During his high school career, Suarez was a four-year letter winner and earned First Team All-District honors in 2023 after receiving Second Team All-District recognition in 2021. He recorded 11 goals and two assists as a senior while playing winger, after totaling five goals and seven assists from his freshman through junior seasons as a fullback.
