Quincy University Hawks

2026 (Junior): Cripe started all 13 games during his junior season with the Hawks, recording 27 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers. He continued to be a consistent piece of Quincy’s defensive unit while also adding his first career goal. Cripe scored the first goal and point of his collegiate career against Rockhurst (2/12/26).

2025 (Sophomore): Cripe appeared in six games with five starts during his sophomore season with the Hawks. He recorded seven ground balls and caused one turnover, continuing to contribute to Quincy’s defensive unit.

2024 (Freshman): Cripe appeared in 11 games during his freshman season with the Hawks, recording seven ground balls. Cripe made his collegiate debut against William Jewell (2/10/24), where he picked up the first ground balls of his career.

Personal: Ronan "Ron" Cripe is a freshman from Sylvania, Ohio, and attended Sylvania Northview High School, where he played for the Wildcats. He is the son of Kelly and Robert Cripe and has two siblings: his twin, Reilly, who is also on the lacrosse team, and his older brother, Angus. 

A four-time Honor Roll student, Ron excelled both academically and athletically. He earned 2x Third Team All-League (NLL) honors, 1x First Team All-League (NLL) recognition, and was named Trilogy Midwest Prime MVP. As a three-year varsity starter, he led the NLL in ground balls during his senior year and holds the program record for most points by a defensive player (30 points). 

Beyond sports, Ron enjoys playing Fortnite and NHL video games. His favorite athletes include Grayson Allen, Dillon Brooks, and Julian Newman, and he is a fan of the Cincinnati Bengals.
