Biography

2025 (Freshman): As a freshman, Essen appeared in all 11 games and made three starts. His collegiate debut came against Rockhurst (2/3/25), where he had two ground balls and one caused turnover. He scored his first collegiate goal in a win over Davenport (2/8/25), a game where he would score four times. On the season, Essen finished with 16 goals, one assist, 20 ground balls, and seven caused turnovers.
