Biography
2025 (Junior): Kersten appeared and started all 11 games for the Hawks on the defensive end, where he picked up 17 ground balls, caused seven turnovers, and recorded his first career point with an assist in a win over Davenport (2/8/25).

2024 (Sophomore): In his second season, Kersten appeared in 13 games, making nine starts, where he picked up 11 ground balls and caused four turnovers.
2023 (Freshman): As a freshman, Kersten appeared in three games, making one start. He made his collegiate debut against Lake Erie (2/12/23).
Personal: Kersten travels east to Quincy from Aurora, Colorado, where he graduated from Rangeview High School. Ian is the son of Angela Chambers and David Kersten.
