Quincy University Hawks

2026 (Junior): Cowan started 12 of the 13 games he appeared in during his junior season, leading the Hawks with 38 points. He scored 17 goals and led the team with 21 assists while adding 18 ground balls, two caused turnovers, and two man-up goals.

Cowan recorded six games with multiple assists and six games with multiple goals. His top performance came against Holy Family (3/16/26), where he finished with a season-high eight points and set a new Quincy single-game record with five assists.

2025 (Sophomore): Cowan appeared in all 11 games with one start during his sophomore season with the Hawks, totaling 24 points on 10 goals and 14 assists. He also added 27 ground balls and one caused turnover.

Cowan scored in all but three games on the season and continued to be a steady offensive contributor for Quincy. His top all-around performance came against William Jewell (3/8/25), where he scored twice, including the game-winning goal, and picked up a season-high six ground balls.

2024 (Freshman): Cowan appeared in 14 games during his freshman season with the Hawks, totaling nine points on six goals and three assists. He also added 20 ground balls and one caused turnover. Cowan scored the first goal of his collegiate career against Adams State (3/14/24). His top offensive performance came against CSU Pueblo (3/16/24), where he finished with a season-high four goals.

Personal: Cowan is from Frisco, Texas, where he graduated from Lone Star High School. He earned Cum Laude honors for his academic achievements while excelling in multiple sports. As a varsity football player, he was part of the 2019 5A Texas Football State Semifinalist team. However, his biggest contributions came in lacrosse, where he served as team captain for three years, demonstrating leadership and commitment to the game.

Outside of sports, Eli enjoys riding his Rip Stick, playing Fortnite, and working out. He is a big fan of Troy Polamalu, Antonio Brown, Dirk Nowitzki, and Ian Kinsler, and he is a passionate fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Dallas Stars, and Texas Rangers. Eli is the son of Heather and Clint Cowan and the brother of Cade.
