Quincy University Hawks

2026 (Freshman): Karedes appeared in all 13 games with one start during his freshman season with the Hawks. He totaled 20 points on seven goals and 13 assists while adding 21 ground balls and two caused turnovers.

Karedes made his collegiate debut against Rockhurst (2/12/26), picking up two ground balls. He recorded the first goal and assist of his career against Northwood (2/23/26) before delivering his biggest moment of the season in an overtime win over William Jewell (3/7/26), where he scored the game-winning goal and posted the first multi-goal and multi-assist performance of his career. He later made his first collegiate start against Chestnut Hill (3/18/26).

Personal: Cooper Karedes is from Elkhorn, Wisconsin, and attended Elkhorn Area High School, where he played for the Elks. He is the son of Jim and Anne Karedes and has a brother, Max. Karedes excelled academically as a member of the National Honor Society.

A standout multi-sport athlete, Karedes was a state qualifier in swimming and a four-year varsity starter in lacrosse, where he served as a three-year team captain. He earned First Team All-Conference honors twice, was named Elkhorn Offensive MVP twice, and helped lead his team to the 2025 MCC Conference Championship. He also finished his career as Elkhorn’s all-time leader in goals with 114.

Outside of athletics, Karedes enjoys basketball, fishing, and water skiing. His favorite athlete is Michael Jordan, and he is a fan of the Milwaukee Bucks and Wisconsin Badgers.
