Miles Stading enters his first season as head coach of the Quincy University women’s lacrosse program in 2026-27 after spending the 2025-26 season as an assistant coach with the Hawks’ men’s lacrosse program.
Stading joined Quincy in June 2025 following four seasons at Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama. After serving his first two seasons as an assistant coach, he was promoted to associate head coach. During his time at Huntingdon, Stading helped guide the Hawks through a challenging USA South Conference schedule while overseeing an offense that doubled its goal output following his first season and produced two nearly 200-goal campaigns.
Prior to his time on staff at Huntingdon, Stading spent the shortened 2020 season with Hanover College men’s lacrosse. The Panthers played seven games before the remainder of the season was canceled due to COVID-19.
Stading also enjoyed a successful playing career at Huntingdon, where he was a three-year starter at attack. He helped lead the Hawks to the 2018 USA South Conference Championship and an NCAA Tournament berth before the program claimed back-to-back USA South regular season titles in 2019. That season, Stading earned national recognition from Inside Lacrosse as a finalist among the publication’s “50 States of Lacrosse” selections.
A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Stading was a four-time USA South Academic All-Conference selection during his playing career. He was also involved with Huntingdon’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and Quality Enhancement Plan Committee.
Stading graduated from Huntingdon in May 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry.
