Quincy University Hawks

2025-26 (Sophomore at Lincoln Land Community College): McCrary appeared in 24 games during his sophomore season at Lincoln Land Community College, making 13 starts. He averaged 4.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game.

McCrary shot 40.7 percent from the field, going 33-for-81, while connecting on 43.4 percent from 3-point range and shooting 91.7 percent from the free throw line. He also totaled 25 steals and 12 blocks.

McCrary scored a season-high nine points against John Wood Community College (1/31/26). He pulled down 10 rebounds twice and recorded at least two steals in seven games, including a pair of four-steal performances.

2024-25 (Freshman at Lincoln Land Community College): McCrary appeared in 28 games during his freshman season at Lincoln Land Community College, making 23 starts. He averaged 4.0 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per contest.

McCrary shot 31.3 percent from the field, going 40-for-128, while adding 21 made 3-pointers and shooting 68.8 percent from the free throw line. He also totaled 24 steals and two blocks.

McCrary made his collegiate debut against Lake Land College (11/2/24), finishing with eight points, 10 rebounds, one assist, and one steal. He scored in double figures three times, including a season-high 11 points on two occasions, and pulled down 10 rebounds twice.

Personal: McCrary is from Vincennes, Indiana, and attended Vincennes Lincoln High School, where he competed for the Alices.

Before coming to Quincy, McCrary spent two seasons at Lincoln Land Community College, where he was named Male Athlete of the Year and Team MVP during his tenure. He became the first men’s basketball player at Lincoln Land to earn Male Athlete of the Year honors.

He is the son of Chris and Scott McCrary and has one sister, Kahre. During his high school career, McCrary competed in basketball, tennis, and golf. In tennis, he was a sectional champion and a two-time First Team All-Conference selection. He also earned Academic All-State recognition in basketball.

Away from the court, McCrary enjoys golfing, playing ping-pong and pickleball, and spending time with friends. His favorite athletes are LeBron James, Trayce Jackson-Davis, and Fernando Mendoza, while his favorite teams are the Indiana Hoosiers and Green Bay Packers.
