2025-26 (Senior): Brown saw his senior season limited due to injury, appearing in 15 games with eight starts. He averaged 9.3 points, 2.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.3 steals across 24.1 minutes per game.
Brown shot 33.9 percent from the field, 30.5 percent from three-point range, and 81.4 percent from the free throw line. He scored in double figures eight times, including a season-high 19 points against Findlay (11/15/25). Brown also dished out a season-high eight assists while adding nine points against Missouri S&T (2/7/26).

2024-25 (Junior): Brown appeared in and started 22 games during his first season with the Hawks before his season was cut short due to injury. He averaged 11.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game while leading Quincy in scoring four times, assists seven times, and steals eight times.
Brown recorded his first career double-double as a Hawk against Indianapolis (1/9/25), finishing with 18 points and a single-game team-high 10 assists. He scored a season-high 20 points against Southwest Baptist (1/30/25) and ranked second on the team at the free throw line, shooting 83.5 percent after going 63-for-78.

2023-24 (Sophomore at UIC): Brown appeared in eight games for the Flames, where he scored four points, hauled in four rebounds, dished five assists, and recorded a block and two steals.Â
2022-23 (Freshman at SWIC): In his first collegiate season, Ethyn averaged 8.6 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.6 assists. His season-high in points came during his first career game against St. Louis Community College (11/12/23), where he scored 17 points on 5-7 shooting.
Personal: Brown is a 5’11 point guard from Belleville, Illinois, out of Belleville East High School. Ethyn started his collegiate career at Southwestern Illinois College, before transferring to the University of Illinois-Chicago. Belleville East High School, Brown scored over 1,000 career points. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games and cooking. Ethyn is the son of Renysha and Edward Brown and has a brother named Edwyn.
