Personal: Mossman is from Jacksonville, Illinois, and attended Routt Catholic High School, where he competed for the Rockets.

He is the son of Jeff and Amy Mossman and has three siblings, Griffin, Nolan, and Callan. His father, Jeff, played baseball at Illinois Wesleyan. Mossman was a member of the National Honor Society and National English Honor Society.

During his high school career, Mossman helped Routt Catholic reach the Elite Eight in basketball and make two state appearances in baseball. He was also part of teams that won two New Berlin Tournament championships, a Winchester Tournament championship, a Waverly Tournament championship, regional and sectional championships, and three WIVC Conference championships.

On the court, Mossman scored 2,000 career points, became the school’s all-time leading scorer, helped Routt record the most wins in school history, and was part of the program’s first sectional championship.

Away from the court, Mossman enjoys golfing, playing video games, playing card games, playing pickleball, and spending time with friends. His favorite athletes are Stephen Curry, Terrence Shannon Jr., and Jordan Walker, while his favorite teams are Illinois, the Chicago Bulls, and the St. Louis Cardinals.
