Personal: Tanner Freeman hails from Carthage, Illinois, and is a proud graduate of Illini West High School, where he competed as a Charger. He is the son of Tony and Kelly Freeman and has two siblings, Kylee Freeman and Kortney Burling.

A multi-sport athlete, Tanner played football, baseball, basketball, and track during high school. On the gridiron, he earned 2nd Team All-Conference honors on both the offensive and defensive line.

Off the field, Tanner enjoys hitting the links for a round of golf, and his favorite athlete is NFL quarterback Joe Burrow. He's a loyal fan of the Green Bay Packers and the St. Louis Cardinals.
