Personal: Star is from Batavia, Illinois, and attended Batavia High School. He is the son of Daniel and Janet Star and has two siblings, Kyle and Carrigan. During his high school career, Star earned All-Conference Honorable Mention honors and helped Batavia win a DuKane Conference Championship.

Away from the field, Star enjoys lifting, going out, playing video games, and watching movies. His favorite athlete is LeBron James and his favorite sports team is the Chicago Bears.
