Personal: Louis is from Chicago, Illinois, and attended Kenwood Academy High School, where he competed for the Broncos. He is the son of Kalenya and has five siblings, Alexia, Kenyonsha, Kenya, and Kenton. Louis earned A-B honor roll recognition during his high school career.

On the field, Louis earned All-State and All-Conference honors, helped Kenwood win a CPS Conference Championship, and finished with the most passing yards in school history.
