High School: Carlson was a two-time football varsity letterwinner at Galesburg High School, while also participating in basketball and baseball… he was an All-Western Big 6 Conference selection in his senior season and was named a team captain… he set the school record with 134 tackles in a single season.
 
Personal: Drew was born Sept. 28, 1993… he is majoring in business… he is the son of David Carlson and Shawn Nelson… Drew has two sisters, Elizabeth and Taylor, and two brothers, Trevor and the late David Adam.
