Quincy University Hawks

2025 (Junior): Miller appeared in 10 games during his junior season with the Hawks, making five starts at wide receiver. He finished the year with 23 receptions for 339 yards, providing another reliable option in Quincy’s passing game. Miller’s top performance came against Southwest Baptist (11/15/25), where he posted season highs with seven receptions and 112 receiving yards.

2024 (Sophomore): Miller appeared in nine games as a sophomore, making four starts to end the season, where he had 13 receptions for 101 yards and one touchdown. He made his collegiate debut against Lincoln (9/7/24), where he recorded his first career reception. Derrick recorded his first career touchdown against McKendree (10/5/24) with a two-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter. He made his first career start against Truman State (10/19/24), where he had three receptions for 25 yards.

2023 (Freshman): Did not see action.

Personal: Miller is a native of Kansas City, Missouri, where he graduated from Lee's Summit West High School. Derrick's favorite athlete is Justin Jefferson, and his favorite team is the Kansas City Chiefs.
