August Nieberle enters his first season with the Quincy University football program in 2026 as an offensive graduate assistant.
Nieberle comes to Quincy after spending four seasons on the coaching staff at De Smet Jesuit High School, serving in several roles on both sides of the ball. Most recently, he worked as the program’s junior varsity head coach and offensive line coach. During his time at De Smet, the Spartans made three consecutive Missouri Class 6 state semifinal appearances from 2022-24 and captured the 2024 state championship.
Nieberle began his coaching career at John Burroughs School, where he served as an offensive assistant for one season while beginning his undergraduate studies. He also helped coach a team that won the 2023 Missouri Lacrosse State Cup.
A native of St. Louis, Missouri, Nieberle graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He majored in organization and strategic management and completed a minor in the business of sports. During his time at Washington University, he also studied abroad and lived in Singapore.
Outside of coaching, Nieberle enjoys traveling, cooking, skiing, biking, and hiking. He is also a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles.
