Biography

2023 (Redshirt Freshman): Appeared in two games during his second season as a Hawk. He made his collegiate debut against Madonna (9/9/23) and scored his first two touchdowns (one passing and one rushing) against Upper Iowa (11/11/23). CJ finished the season 15-25 with 104 yards and a touchdown to go along with 57 rush yards and a touchdown.

2022 (Freshman): Did not see action.

Personal: Clark "CJ" Simms is from Merritt Island, Florida, and graduated from Viera High School. CJ is the son of Patti and Clark Simms and the brother of Kegan, Logan, Brittany, Tyler, and Casey. Outside of football, he enjoys golfing and watching his favorite football team, the Pittsburgh Steelers. His favorite athletes include Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, and Scotty Scheffler.
