Player Bio: Emily Hume hails from Hannibal, Missouri, and attended Palmyra High School. She spent her first two years at John Wood Community College, where she was a part of the cheer team for the Blazers. Emily is the daughter of Laurie Kurre and John Hume.

Why QU?
The main reason I chose QU is because of the supportive family environment. The community of QU is extremely supportive of all students, and that support is felt by every professor, coach, and staff member on campus. I also chose QU because of its partnership with Blessing Rieman College of Nursing and Health Sciences. BRCN is also an amazing school, and with QU having a partnership with them, it made my decision to come here very easy.
