Personal: Sam Birkenmeier is from Lake Saint Louis, Missouri, and attended St. Dominic High School, where he played for the Crusaders. He is the son of David and Rebecca Birkenmeier and has a sister, Anna. Birkenmeier graduated Cum Laude during his time at St. Dominic. Outside of baseball, he enjoys lifting weights and playing video games. His favorite athlete is Yadier Molina, and he is a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs.
