Career (2023-26): Harrison spent all four seasons with the Hawks, appearing in 65 games with 20 starts. He finished his career with a 17-8 record, nine saves, a 4.79 ERA, and a 1.50 WHIP across 186.0 innings pitched. Harrison struck out 197 batters while issuing 89 walks and held opponents to a .259 batting average.

2026 (Senior): Harrison served as the Hawks’ game one starter during his senior season, making 12 starts, which tied for the team lead. He led Quincy with 62.0 innings pitched and six wins, finishing 6-2 with a 5.81 ERA, 1.58 WHIP, and 56 strikeouts.

Harrison held opponents to a .282 batting average and struck out a season-high nine batters twice, doing so against Roosevelt (2/20/26) and McKendree (4/2/26).

2025 (Junior): Harrison emerged as one of the Hawks’ top starting pitchers during his junior season, making 16 appearances with eight starts. He went 5-4 with a team-best 4.10 ERA and 1.34 WHIP across 63.2 innings pitched, while leading Quincy with 72 strikeouts and holding opponents to a .226 batting average.

Harrison made the first start of his collegiate career against No. 18 Davenport (3/17/25), throwing five innings and allowing four runs, two earned, with four strikeouts. He was especially strong down the stretch, allowing three runs or fewer in each of his final six conference starts while posting a 3.14 ERA with 43 strikeouts during that span.

2024 (Sophomore): Harrison led the Hawks with 21 appearances during his sophomore season, all coming out of the bullpen. He threw 33.2 innings, posting a 5.08 ERA and 1.54 WHIP while striking out 38 batters.

Harrison also led the team with eight saves, earning the first save of his collegiate career after recording the final four outs against Davenport (3/1/24).

2023 (Freshman): Harrison made 16 appearances during his freshman season with the Hawks, posting a 4-0 record with a 3.71 ERA across 26.2 innings pitched. He struck out 31 batters while walking 15 and held opponents to a .271 batting average.

Harrison made his collegiate debut against Tampa (2/11/23), tossing a scoreless inning with one strikeout. He earned the first win of his career against Northwood (3/5/23), throwing three innings of one-run ball.

Personal: Roman Harrison hails from Mt Vernon, Illinois and attended Mt. Vernon Township High School. At Mt. Vernon Township, Harrison was a South Seven Conference Champion and a 3A Regional Champion. His hobbies include listening to and collecting music, reading, and drawing. Roman is the son of Gabe and Keri Harrison and has one sibling in Annibelle Basso.
