Quincy University Hawks

2025 (Junior):In his third season with the Hawks, Harrison turned into one of, if not the best-starting pitcher for Quincy. Roman made 16 appearances and eight starts, where he tossed 63.2 innings and had a 5-4 record with a team-best 4.10 ERA and 1.34 WHIP. He also led the team with 72 strikeouts and limited opponents to a .226 average. In his final six starts in conference play, Harrison did not give up more than three runs in a start and had a 3.14 ERA to go along with 43 punchouts. He made his first career start against No. 18 Davenport (3/17/25), where he threw five innings and surrendered four runs, two earned, on four hits, two walks, and four strikeouts.

2024 (Sophomore): Harrison led the team with 21 appearances, all out of the bullpen. He tossed 33.2 innings and had a 5.08 ERA and a 1.54 WHIP. Roman had 38 strikeouts and led the team with eight saves.

2023 (Freshman): Harrison pitched 26.2 innings in 16 appearances for the Hawks, racking up 31 strikeouts and only walking 15 batters. He finished his freshman campaign with a 3.71 ERA.

Personal: Roman Harrison hails from Mt Vernon, Illinois and attended Mt. Vernon Township High School. At Mt. Vernon Township, Harrison was a South Seven Conference Champion and a 3A Regional Champion. His hobbies include listening to and collecting music, reading, and drawing. Roman is the son of Gabe and Keri Harrison and has one sibling in Annibelle Basso.
