2025 (Redshirt Junior): Alvarez had nine at-bats in his second season with the Hawks, where he was held without a hit and had one walk and four strikeouts.
2024 (Redshirt Sophomore): In his first season with the Hawks, Alvarez made an appearance in seven games, making three starts, where he got 16 at-bats. In those at-bats, he had two hits, one double, and drove in one run.Â
2023 (Sophomore at the University of Hartford): Made an appearance in six games, making five starts, where he totaled 14 at-bats and had two hits, one double, and drove in three RBIs.
2022 (Freshman at Waubonsee CC): Appeared in 37 games and had a slash line of .327/.356/.504 over 113 at-bats. Alvarez had nine doubles, one triple, three home runs, and drove in 29 runs.

Personal: Michael Alvarez hails from Atlanta, Georgia, where he played four years for Milton High School Eagles. At Milton, Michael was on the leadership committee and was also a part of the all-region team his senior year. Michael went to Waubonsee Community College from 2021-22 and then transferred to the University of Hartford for the 2023 season. Michael’s favorite teams are the Atlanta Braves and the Dallas Cowboys, and his favorite athlete to watch is Miguel Cabrera. In his free time, Michael enjoys being the team barber. Michael is the son of Carlos and Cynthia Alvarez and has two siblings, Julia and Anthony.
