Quincy University Hawks

2025 (Junior): Huffman was one of two Hawks to appear and start in all 53 games, where he had a slash line of .296/.409/.529 across 189 at-bats. He was second on the team in doubles (11), home runs (11), total bases (100), and walks (22). He led the team in hit-by-pitches with 17 and also drove in 44 RBIs and scored 41 runs. Huffman had a two-homer game with six RBIs in a win over the Colorado School of Mines (2/28/25).

2024 (Sophomore): In his second season with the Hawks, Huffman appeared and started in all 54 games, where he hit .298 with nine doubles, seven home runs, and 34 RBIs. Joe had his first career multi-home run game after mashing three against McKendree (4/28/24).

2023 (Freshman):  As a freshman, Joe appeared in 43 games and started in 33, where he put up a slash line of .264/.421/.509 and drove in 18. Huffman had six doubles and seven home runs, with his first collegiate big fly coming in game two of a doubleheader against Northwood (4/3/23).
 

Personal: Joe Huffman comes from Avon, Indiana, and attended Avon High School, where he was a second-team All-State selection in both 2021 and 2022. Huffman also received the District K Player of the Year in 2022. Huffman holds his high school’s career batting average record at .444. His favorite athlete is Aaron Judge, and his favorite team is the New York Yankees. Joe Huffman is the son of Brian and Andrea Huffman, and he has one sister named Sydney.
