Quincy University Hawks

2025 (Senior): In his senior season, Vitale had a slash line of .293/.421/.543 with nine doubles, one triple, eight home runs, and 31 RBIs. He scored 36 times and was 10-12 on stolen base attempts. 

2024 (Junior): In his first season with the Hawks, Vitale hit .232 with five doubles, eight home runs, and 28 RBIs. Jake scored 20 runs and was 3-3 on stolen base attempts. He hit his first career home run as a Hawk with a big fly against Indianapolis (4/14/24) and had two multi-home run games in the series against McKendree (4/26/24 and 4/28/24).

2023 (Sophomore at Parkland): Appeared in 25 games, where he scored 22 runs, drove in 14 RBIs, and walked 17 times. Vitale hit just under .300 at .299 and had five doubles, one triple, and two home runs. He was also perfect in the field on 24 chances.

2022 (Freshman at Parkland): As a freshman at Parkland, Vitale appeared in 32 games, totaling 60 at-bats, where he had a slash line of .283/.506/.550. Jake had five doubles, one triple, and three home runs, to go along with 27 runs scored and nine RBIs.

Personal: A St. Louis, Missouri, native and Pattonville High School attendee, Jake Vitale, comes to Quincy after being a part of the baseball team and National Honors Society at Pattonville. Jake is the son of John and Lisa Vitale and has a sister named Maggie. Jake’s dad played baseball collegiately at Delta State, and his mom played softball at the University of Missouri-St. Louis. In his free time, Jake enjoys spending time with friends, family, and his cat. His favorite baseball team is the St Louis Cardinals, and his favorite athlete is Ronald Acuna Jr.
