Kevin Franchetti enters his second season on staff for the QU baseball team. Franchetti transitions into working full time with the catchers and hitters for the Hawks after spending last season as the assistant pitching coach.
Franchetti helped coach two all conference perfromers on the mound for QU in Brandon Ley (1st Team) and Jake Peterson (2nd Team) on a staff that won 39 games and hosted its second straight NCAA Midwest Regional.
Prior to coaching at QU Franchetti spent 3 seasons playing independent league baseball in the Frontier League with the Normal Cornbelters and the Lake Erie Crushers.
In his collegiate career he appeared in 95 games at Ball State before transferring to Carson Newman to finish his career where he hit 8 homeruns and drove in 28 runs in his only season with the Eagles.
