Chandler Purcell

Chandler Purcell joined the Quincy University baseball coaching staff in 2020 and will enter his third year in 2022.

Purcell played all four years of his collegiate years for the Hawks from 2016-2019. 

While in uniform for QU, Purcell compiled a career .307 average with 163 hits, 23 doubles, 16 home runs, and 90 RBI. The left-handed hitter also proved to be tough to strike out. Purcell posted a career strikeout percentage of just 10 percent. 

The Waterloo, Illinois native works primarily with outfielders and hitters in his role as assistant coach.
