Biography
Career (2023-26): Moreno appeared in 120 games across his collegiate career, spending two seasons at John Wood Community College before playing two seasons with the Hawks. He finished with a .270 batting average, .358 on-base percentage, .550 slugging percentage, and .908 OPS. Moreno totaled 99 hits, 23 doubles, one triple, 26 home runs, 202 total bases, 92 RBIs, and 78 runs scored.
2026 (Senior): Moreno appeared in 20 games and made 19 starts during his senior season with the Hawks. He hit .267 with a .397 on-base percentage, .600 slugging percentage, and .997 OPS, recording two doubles, six home runs, 13 RBIs, 13 runs scored, nine walks, and six hit by pitches.
Defensively, Moreno posted a .989 fielding percentage, committing just one error in 92 chances. He finished the season with four multi-hit games, highlighted by a multi-home run performance against Colorado Mesa (2/14/26).
2025 (Junior): Moreno made an impact during his first season with the Hawks, totaling 99 at-bats while hitting .263 with seven doubles, four home runs, and 23 RBIs.
Moreno made his Quincy debut against Lincoln Memorial (2/7/25), going 2-for-5 with an RBI. He later hit his first home run in a Hawk uniform against No. 1 Tampa (2/15/25).
2024 (Sophomore at JWCC): Moreno appeared in 22 games during his sophomore season at John Wood Community College, hitting .246 with a .329 on-base percentage, .508 slugging percentage, and .837 OPS. He recorded four doubles, four home runs, and 14 RBIs for the Blazers.
2023 (Freshman at JWCC): Moreno appeared in 48 games during his freshman season at John Wood Community College, posting a .286 batting average, .373 on-base percentage, and .612 slugging percentage across 147 at-bats. He recorded 10 doubles, one triple, 12 home runs, and 42 RBIs.
Moreno made his collegiate debut against Culver-Stockton JV (2/7/23) before breaking out in his second career game against Shawnee Community College (2/18/23), going 4-for-4 with a triple, two home runs, three RBIs, and three runs scored. He finished the season with 11 multi-hit games.
