Quincy University Hawks

2025 (Senior): In his senior season, Ben's season was cut short due to injury but still managed to toss 22.2 innings across five starts. Draeger had a 3-1 record with a 4.76 ERA and 1.68 WHIP. His best outing of the season came against the Colorado School of Mines (3/2/25), where he tossed six innings of one-run ball and earned the win.

2024 (Junior): In his first season with the Hawks, Draeger made eight relief appearances, totaling 9.1 innings pitched. He compiled a 2–0 record with three saves and a 1.91 ERA. Draeger made his Hawks debut against Lewis (4/7/24), tossing a scoreless inning. He earned his first save in an 11–6 victory over Indianapolis (4/13/24) after recording the final two innings. His first win in a Hawk uniform came in a 10–7 win over Southwest Baptist (4/21/24), where he allowed one unearned run over two innings while striking out two.

2023 (Sophomore at LLCC): As a sophomore, Draeger made 13 appearances, including 11 starts, compiling a 6–3 record across 53.2 innings pitched. He posted a 4.02 ERA and a 1.19 WHIP while striking out 66 batters. Draeger recorded a season-high 10 strikeouts in a win over John Wood (3/20/23), allowing just one run over five innings.

2022 (Freshman at LLCC): In his first season with the Loggers, Draeger made 13 appearances, including 12 starts, compiling an 8–2 record with a 4.75 ERA and a 1.33 WHIP across 66.1 innings pitched. He led the team with 68 strikeouts while issuing just nine walks. Draeger made his collegiate debut against Milwaukee Area Tech (2/19/22) and earned his first career win against Jackson (3/7/22) after tossing seven scoreless innings with nine strikeouts. He later recorded a season-high 11 strikeouts in a 7–3 victory over Danville Area (4/16/22), allowing three runs over seven innings. Draeger capped his freshman campaign with a complete-game shutout in a 9–0 win over Parkland (5/19/22), scattering five hits over nine innings while striking out seven.

Personal: Hailing from Morton, Illinois, and attending Morton High School, Ben Draeger comes to Quincy after a two-year stint at Lincoln Land College. His favorite athlete is Ian Happ, and his favorite teams are the Chicago Cubs, Green Bay Packers, and Oklahoma City Thunder. Draeger is proud to be an Eagle Scout. His parents are Debbie and Keith, and he has two siblings, Katelynn and Stephen.
