Personal: Ari Fivelson is from Gilberts, Illinois, and attended Hampshire High School, where he played for the Whippurs. He is the son of Derek and Molly Fivelson and has two sisters, Sydney and Camryn. Fivelson excelled academically, graduating with a 4.0 unweighted GPA and a 5.9 weighted GPA while being named the Industrial Technology Department Student of the Year during his senior year.

A multi-sport athlete, Fivelson played four years of football, serving as a senior captain, and four years of baseball, where he was a two-year team captain. On the diamond, he earned All-Conference honors and was named to an All-Area team while helping lead Hampshire to back-to-back IHSA 4A Regional Championships in 2024 and 2025. During his senior season, the Whippurs also set the school record for wins in a single season.

Fivelson is a fan of the Seattle Mariners and Seattle Seahawks. His favorite athletes include Ichiro Suzuki, Russell Wilson, and Julio Rodríguez.
