Biography
2024 (Junior): In his second season with the Hawks, Lopez caught one pass for 17 yards and also had eight tackles on the defensive end, including five tackles against Calumet College (9/28/24).
2023 (Sophomore): In his first season in a Hawk uniform, Lopez saw action in seven games, hauling in nine passes for 52 yards. He made his debut with the Hawks against Fontbonne (9/14/23) and recorded his first reception for QU against Walsh (9/22/23).
Personal:Â Evan Lopez hails from Hesperia, California, and graduated from Oak Hills High School, where he played for the Bulldogs. He is the son of Luciano and Alison Lopez and has four siblings: Laura, Luciano II, Landen, and Preston. Evan spent two years playing football at Victor Valley Community College before transferring to Quincy University to continue his academic and athletic journey. In his free time, he enjoys grilling and going to the gym. His favorite athletes are Dez Bryant and Larry Fitzgerald, and he proudly supports the Dallas Cowboys, Los Angeles Lakers, and Los Angeles Dodgers.
Why QU?
I chose QU because of the beautiful campus and great city. I also wanted to be a part of a growing sprint football program.
