Quincy University Hawks

2024 (Freshman): As a freshman, Gertken made an appearance in four games on the offensive line for the Hawks, making his collegiate debut against St. Mary-of-the-Woods (9/21/24).

Personal: Luke Gertken, a native of Wentzville, Missouri, is a graduate of North Point High School, where he was a standout for the Grizzlies. The son of Salvatore and Melissa Gertken, Luke excelled both athletically and academically, graduating Summa Cum Laude while earning varsity starter status in three sports: football, wrestling, and track and field. His high school career was highlighted by all-conference and all-academic honors, a Sportsmanship of the Year award, and consistent recognition on the honor roll. Off the field, Luke enjoys exploring international relations, playing guitar, staying active in sports, gaming, and spending time with friends. A passionate fan of Drew Lock and Jordan Binnington, he proudly supports the Denver Broncos and the St. Louis Blues.
