Quincy University Hawks

2025 (Junior): Buchholz appearedin all seven games during his junior season with the Hawks, becoming one of Quincy’s top defensive playmakers. He ranked second on the team with 50 tackles, including 19 solo stops and 31 assists.

Buchholz led the Hawks with 11.5 tackles for loss, five quarterback hurries, and two blocked kicks, while also adding one sack. He recorded eight or more tackles in five games and posted a season-high nine tackles twice. His top performance behind the line came against Midway (9/27/25), where he finished with four tackles for loss.

2024 (Sophomore): As a sophomore, Buchholz saw action in five games and recorded 13 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, and one sack. He had a season-high seven tackles against Calumet College (9/28/24). 

2023 (Freshman): In his first season with the Hawks, Kaden appeared in seven games, where he recorded 24 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, a forced fumble, blocked a kick, and even recorded a punt and kicked a PAT. He made his collegiate debut against Fontbonne (9/14/23), where he recorded two tackles and a 0.5 sack. His season-high in tackles came against Midway (10/7/23), recording six tackles.

Personal: Kaden Buchholz is from Huntley, Illinois, and attended Huntley High School, where he was a proud member of the Red Raiders. He is the son of Julia and Harold Buchholz and has four siblings: Nevan, Rylan, Greyson, and Kashton. During his high school career, Kaden was part of a team that became 2-time FVC Conference Champions. In his free time, he enjoys sports, hanging out with friends, and playing Xbox. His favorite athlete is Aaron Rodgers, and he's a dedicated fan of the Green Bay Packers.
