Quincy University Hawks

Career (2021-25): Jackson spent five collegiate seasons between Belhaven and Quincy, playing two seasons at Belhaven before finishing his career with three seasons as a Hawk. He appeared in 27 career games and set the standard for Quincy running backs with his production out of the backfield.

Across his collegiate career, Jackson totaled 339 carries for 1,598 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns, averaging 4.71 yards per carry. He also added 26 receptions for 218 yards and one touchdown, one kickoff return for 26 yards, and eight punt returns for 114 yards and one touchdown.

As of the 2025 season, Jackson held nine Quincy single-season records, three single-game records, and seven career records. His Quincy career records included rushing yards (1,498), rushing attempts (316), rushing touchdowns (19), total points (134), total touchdowns (21), all-purpose yards (1,857), and touchdowns responsible for (21).

2025 (Senior): Jackson appeared in six games during his senior season with the Hawks, putting together a record-setting year out of the backfield. He set the Quincy single-season record with 125 rushing attempts, finishing with 561 rushing yards and six touchdowns.

Jackson also contributed in the passing and return game, adding seven receptions for 72 yards, one kickoff return for 26 yards, and one punt return for five yards. He broke the Quincy single-game rushing record with 182 yards on 32 carries against Bellarmine (10/5/25), then broke his own record in his final game with 201 rushing yards against Oakland City (11/1/25). In that same matchup, Jackson also set a single-game program record with four rushing touchdowns.

2024 (Senior): In his second season with QU, Jackson was a do-it-all player on offense and special teams. He rushed for 323 yards and five touchdowns on 79 attempts to go along with 116 receiving yards and a score on 12 receptions. CJ also returned seven punts for 109 yards, including a 70-yard punt return for a touchdown in a win over Oakland City (10/19/24).

2023 (Junior): Jackson took flight in his first season with the Hawks rushing, 112 times for 614 yards (5.5 yards per carry) and eight touchdowns across seven games (87.7 yards per game). He made his debut in a Hawk uniform against Fontbonne (9/14/23), where he had a season-high 26 rushing attempts for 137 yards and three scores, one of three games with multiple touchdowns and 100+ yards.

2022 (Sophomore at Belhaven): In his second season with the Blazers, CJ appeared in seven games, where he rushed 21 times for 96 yards (4.6 yards per carry).

2021 (Freshman at Belhaven): Appeared in one game, making his collegiate debut against Millsaps (9/2/21), where he had two rushing attempts for four yards.

Personal: Jackson attended Belhaven University for two years, playing on the Blazers football team before transferring to Quincy. He is originally from Starkville, Mississippi, and a graduate of Starkville Academy. He is the son of Ashley Jackson.
