QUINCY, Ill. – Quincy University baseball landed two student-athletes on the 2026 National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) All-Midwest Region teams, as
Isaiah Fudge earned First Team honors while
Ben Dahlof was named to the Second Team following standout seasons for the Hawks.
Fudge's breakout junior campaign continued to earn recognition after previously being selected to the D2CCA All-Midwest Region First Team and receiving First Team All-GLVC honors. During the season, he also picked up GLVC Player of the Week honors, NCBWA Midwest Region Hitter of the Week recognition, and a QU Toyota Star of the Week selection.
A staple in the middle of the Hawks lineup all season, Fudge started all 51 games while producing one of the top offensive years in the GLVC. He finished with a .418 batting average, .504 on-base percentage, and .598 slugging percentage for a 1.102 OPS. His 81 hits ranked fifth in the conference and led Quincy, while he also paced the Hawks in RBIs (56), doubles (18), and total bases (116).
Fudge added 57 runs scored and swiped 19 bases in 22 attempts while consistently controlling the strike zone, drawing 34 walks against just 23 strikeouts on the year.
His consistency at the plate became one of the driving forces behind Quincy's offense, recording a hit in 47 of 51 games. He posted an 18-game hitting streak during the season, finished with 26 multi-hit contests, and recorded three or more hits in nine different games.
Dahlof earned Second Team All-Region honors after putting together an exceptional senior season for the Hawks. Earlier this season, Dahlof was named Second Team All-GLVC and also earned QU Toyota Star of the Week honors.
Matching Fudge's consistency, Dahlof started all 51 games while compiling a .380/.487/.516 slash line and a 1.003 OPS. He finished second on the team with 70 hits while scoring 56 runs, ranking among the conference leaders in the category.
Dahlof also made a major impact on the basepaths, stealing 27 bases in 30 attempts, while reaching base in all but one game this season. He drew 23 walks, was hit by a pitch 17 times, and totaled 22 multi-hit performances, including eight games with at least three hits.
The NCBWA All-Region teams recognize the top players across NCAA Division II baseball in the Midwest Region following the conclusion of the 2026 season.
