QUINCY, Ill. – The Quincy University women's tennis team dropped a 4-1 decision to Roosevelt University on Sunday afternoon at the Quincy Racquet Club.

Roosevelt claimed the early advantage by sweeping all three doubles matches to secure the doubles point.

Quincy responded at the top of the singles lineup as Mahi Panchal delivered a strong performance, earning a 6-3, 6-3 straight-set victory at No. 1 singles for the Hawks' lone point of the afternoon. The win marks Panchal's third consecutive singles victory.

The Lakers picked up wins at Nos. 3, 4, and 6 singles to clinch the team result, while matches at Nos. 2 and 5 were left unfinished.

With the loss, Quincy moves to 5-4 on the season. The Hawks will be back in action Sunday, March 8, when they take on McKendree University beginning at 12:00 PM.
