GLVC Releases Men's Cross Country Preseason Poll

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Quincy University men's cross country team was selected 12th in the 2025 GLVC Men's Cross Country Preseason Poll, the league office announced Wednesday.

The Hawks enter their second season under head coach Ryan Palm with a blend of experience and new talent. Quincy welcomes seven incoming freshmen to the roster while returning four letterwinners from last fall. The group also marks Quincy's largest roster since 2018, giving the program valuable depth as it continues to build in year two of the Palm era.

Lewis was picked as the preseason favorite, earning 11 first-place votes and 121 points after capturing its 17th GLVC Championship in 2024. Drury and Illinois Springfield followed in second and third, while Missouri S&T rounded out the top four.

Quincy will open its season on Friday, September 5, at the UIS Prairie Star Invitational in Springfield, Illinois.
