Hawks Battle to the Wire but Fall 4-3 at MoBap

CHESTERFIELD, Mo. – The Quincy University men's tennis team put up a strong fight on Friday afternoon (Feb. 14), but got no love in the end on this Valentines Day in a 4-3 loss to Missouri Baptist at Forest Lake Tennis Club.

The No. 2 duo of Gianni Lopez and Rod Coello Trevino edged out a 7-5 victory, while the No. 3 tandem of Gerard Abad Puig and Pablo Mateos Niella dominated with a 6-2 win. The No. 1 duo of Inigo Villacampa and Joseph Restrepo dropped their match to the Spartans top pairing 3-6.
