Personal: Marko Cucuk is from right here in Quincy, Illinois, and attended Quincy Notre Dame High School, where he competed as a Raider. He is the son of Ilija and Suzana Cucuk and has a brother, Luka, who played basketball at SIUE from 2016 to 2019.
Marko made his mark in tennis, finishing top 12 in the state, being a 2-time sectional singles winner, and claiming 7 singles tournament titles. Off the court, he enjoys all things sports-related and draws inspiration from Serbian greats Novak Djokovic and Nikola Jokic. He supports the Denver Nuggets and the Miami Dolphins.
