The accolades continue to pile up for Susanna Beretti.
The junior outside hitter from Milan, Italy, was named D2CCA Second Team All-American, becoming one of just 21 student-athletes in the nation to earn All-America recognition from the Division II Conference Commissioners Association. Beretti was also one of only two players from the Great Lakes Valley Conference to be honored, further cementing her status as one of the premier attackers in all of Division II.
Beretti turned in one of the most dominant individual seasons in Quincy University history, emerging as a go-to weapon on the outside and one of the most dangerous hitters in the country. Her combination of power, efficiency, and consistency made her a nightmare for opposing defenses throughout the year and helped elevate the Hawks into national conversations.
Her All-America selection caps a season filled with accolades and national recognition, as Beretti put together one of the strongest résumés by a Quincy volleyball student-athlete in program history. Throughout the year, she collected honors at the conference, regional, and national levels, including:
- D2CCA Second Team All-American
- AVCA Third Team All-American
- D2CCA Midwest Region First Team
- AVCA Midwest All-Region First Team
- GLVC First Team All-Conference
- GLVC All-Tournament Team
- Midwest Region Crossover All-Tournament Team
- Bettye Wallace Invitational All-Tournament Team
- Two-time GLVC Offensive Player of the Week
- D2 AVCA National Player of the Week
With her latest All-America honor, Beretti adds another milestone to an already historic junior campaign and continues to build one of the most decorated careers the Quincy volleyball program has seen.
