Columbia, Mo. - The Quincy University cross country teams competed at the Columbia College Larry Young Cross Country Invitational this Friday (Sept. 20). 

Katie Park finished first for the Hawks, beating over half of the runners with a time of 22:07.1. Briana Obermaier finished just behind her with a 23:24.8. Freshman Ava Certa ran a 27:17.1 and was followed by Sofia Coglianese and Carlie Davis.

Jude Mintle was the first Hawk across the line with a 30:32.6 for the 8K. Freshmen Thomas Hess and Vincent Olson finished close behind with 31:18.1 and 31:52.4 times. Owen Weinfurtner rounded off the Hawks with a 33:22.6 time. 

The Hawks have a quick turn around for their next meet, which will be next Saturday, September 28th at the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational.
