Quincy, Ill. - Coming off the high of their first win, the Hawks hosted the nationally ranked Drury Panthers Monday night (Nov. 27) at Pepsi Arena. Rebounds and baskets were the difference in this matchup, Hawks losing 81-56 at the final buzzer. 

The first five minutes of the game showed a confident, aggressive Quincy team, with the Hawks taking the lead by five points. The game took a turn for the worst following an exciting bit of play from the Hawks. Drury went up fourteen points by the end of the first. The Hawks did not regain the lead for the rest of the game. 

Cymirah Williams led the Hawks with twelve points, nine rebounds, and four steals. 

The Hawks look to bounce back this weekend as they travel to Missouri S&T for their next conference match.
