Hawks Fall Short on the Road

LEBANON, Ill. – Looking to win their third straight GLVC game at McKendree University on Thursday, January 26th, the Hawks battled all night. The Bearcats would come away with the 63-60 win at the Harry M. Statham Sports Center.

Four Hawks recorded double figures in the contest, led by Beth Matas Martin who collected 16 points on 7 of 13 from the field. Cymirah Williams registered a double-double, her third of the season. Gabby Burns chipped in 11 points, while Sarah Nelson collected 10.

As a team, the Hawks shot 24 of 58 for 41.4%, 4 of 13 from three-point territory and 8 of 11 from the free throw line.

Quincy will return home on Saturday, January 28th as the Maryville University Saints come to Pepsi Arena for a 1:00 p.m. start.
