SAINT LOUIS, Mo. – The Hawks (8-10, 4-6 GLVC) went on the road to the University of Missouri – St. Louis on Thursday, January 19
th for a GLVC battle against the Tritons. For the first time since January of 2014, the Hawks win the Mark Twain Building by the score of 79-69.
Five Hawks reached double figures in the victory, led by
Beth Matas Martin who eclipsed the 20-point plateau for the third time. She was 6 of 14 from the field, including 3 of 7 from three-point territory.
Grace Flanagan and
Sarah Nelson chipped in 15 points apiece for the Hawks.
Cymirah Williams and
Emma Knipe were the other two Hawks in double figures.
Overall, QU shot 30 of 56 from the field and 6 of 14 from beyond the arc.
QU will return home for their next home game on Saturday, January 21
st when the Missouri S&T Miners come to the Gem City for a 1:00 p.m. start.
