St. Charles, Mo. – The Quincy University Women's Lacrosse team traveled to eighth ranked Lindenwood Lions on Friday (4/8) night. The Lions proved too much for the Hawks as Lindenwood won by the score of 23-4.
After the Lions jumped out to a 2-0 lead just two minutes into the match,
Patricia Chavira got the Hawks on the board at the 12:03 mark to make it 2-1. Lindenwood finished the first 15 minutes of action with a seven goal lead at 8-1. They would end the half by scoring seven more goals in the 2
nd quarter to make it 15-1 at halftime.
In the 2
nd half,
Danielle Robinson supplied the Hawks offense as she recorded a hat trick. The Lions added 8 goals in the half. In total, Lindenwood had 15 different goal scorers.
