Quincy, Ill. - The Quincy University women's lacrosse team received #2 University of Indianapolis at QU Stadium on Saturday (Apr. 16). The Hawks played aggressively forcing eight turnovers from the number two team in the country, UIndy but lost the game 22-1.

Quincy's goalie recorded 14 saves in the game in an effort to stopped UIndy's offense. In the fourth period with less than five minutes left, Patricia Chavira squeezed her way into the box forcing a foul and the free position attempt. Chavira took advantage of the free position and shot a bullet that hit the net for Quincy's only goal of the game.
