Fayette, Iowa - The Quincy University women's lacrosse team traveled to Fayette, Iowa to face Upper Iowa University on Tuesday (Apr. 19). Danielle Robinson with 10 goals in the game passed the 100 goals mark as a Sophomore Quincy player and helped the Hawks beat the Peacocks 26-10.
The Hawks responded with two consecutive goals after the Peacocks opened up the score with a goal, (2-1). Quincy pushed offensively and scored three more goals before Danielle Robinson scored her second goal of the game and 100th of her career to put the score 6-3. With only 14 seconds left in the period, Robinson found the opportunity to score again with a man down and stretched the score 7-3.
Quincy continued with a strong offense and scored six goals in the second period to make the score 13-7 heading to halftime.
The Second half went similarly as the Hawks scored 10 goals in the third period and three in the fourth to win the game 26-10 as the Peacocks were unable to match Quincy's strong offensive performance.
